Shipping and Returns
Every piece at Galeria Escultórica is made by hand in the studio in Alcântara, Lisbon. When you order, we wrap it ourselves. Carefully, slowly, with enough padding to survive a small earthquake. We'd rather take an extra day and get it to you safely.

Processing time
Orders are packed and sent within 2–3 working days. If you need it faster for a gift or a specific occasion, message us on Whatsapp and we'll do what we can.

Europe
We currently ship pieces up to 1kg across Europe via Correio Azul.

For larger pieces, message us on WhatsApp with the piece you're interested in and where you are, and we'll sort a quote for you. We're rolling out shipping for bigger pieces gradually as we work out the safest way to send them.

Collection from the studio
If you're in Lisbon, or you'd rather come see a piece before you take it home, collection from the studio in Alcântara is always an option. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange a time.
Collection is also how Medusa and any packages over 10kg are handled by default. Some things don't belong in a CTT box.
Frequently asked
Do you ship internationally? We ship pieces up to 1kg across Europe automatically at checkout. For larger pieces or destinations outside Europe, message us on WhatsApp and we'll sort a quote.
Why don't you ship larger pieces to Europe yet? Honest answer: we want to be sure they arrive safely. Ceramics and international post are a tricky combination, and we're working through the right packaging and carriers piece by piece. If there's something specific you'd like, message us so we can arrange it directly.
Can I collect from the studio? Yes, any piece can be collected from Alcântara. Select "Collection only" at checkout, or message us to arrange a time.
What if my piece arrives damaged? It shouldn't — we wrap everything ourselves and haven't had a piece break in transit yet. But if it does, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll sort it out. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, so a replacement isn't always possible, but we'll make it right one way or another.
Do you ship to PO boxes? Not reliably. Please use a street address where someone can sign for the parcel.
Is tracking included? Yes, on every order. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your piece has been dispatched.
Can I change my address after ordering? If your piece hasn't been sent yet, yes — message us on WhatsApp as soon as you can.
Workshops
Workshop bookings don't require shipping. You'll receive everything by email.
